Ok...I've waited on posting this for a while until I got it down pretty well.

I'm not going to put the exact specs here because success is only about 85% atm because I'm playing with noobs half the time.

Here's what I need:
mature, ts ready players of 1 of the following 2 specs:

1.) Echo nuker w/ maelstrom. Double or triple is fine, doesn't really matter as long as you can shut down a monk or two.

2.) Primary monk (cause of+4) with balth spirit, essence bond, mending+4, watchfull spirit and shield of judgement. A Mo/E would be best because you can get another maelstrom for a couple of the groups that are harder.

But here's what I'm offering..

3 man FOW run. Everyone I've taken so far has been quite impressed with it. It takes 2-3 times to get the guys down with their roles and understand how it works....but...

I split shards/golds evenly. If you won't give up a shard just because it dropped for you, don't msg me. I don't wanna talk to ya. Gold/Shard drops go as follows:

1st goes to whoever it drops for
2nd goes to whoever it drops for unless its the same as above, in which case it goes to player #2 and I'll take the third. This sets the rotation for the full time that we're farming, regardless of how many runs we do.

Same rotation is set up for golds.

Chests are exempt from this clause. If you are a dumbass and forget your key, I'll drop one for you with the deal that I have the option of giving you a shard in exchange for the unidentified item from the chest. Don't like the deal? Don't take it. But don't bitch about not having keys.

I know that there are people who can solo fow. its hard, but I can get to forge if I'm lucky. And it takes forever and its boring.

This is a 3 man FOW team that is fun and exciting. Of course things go wrong at times, but that's what makes it challenging. You have to work as a team and its quite fun.

IGN's are heal dembastages, nuke dembastages and smash dembastages. Chances are I'll be on heal...as I'm addicted to farming. But my therapist says its a healthy way to get out my anger. :P

But I thought that mending only goes to +3?

Yes you are. It goes to +4 with 13 Healing prayers if I am not mistaken.

i am a great smiter, never been in FoW, able to farm UW these days ALONE, and i would like to try farming FoW. Anyone who wants to farm, IGN: Victoria Velocity, Dark Dualinity

while uw is easy, its quite boring. I think that is due to the repitition. Same mobs, etc. The only effect of the patch on solo monks is replacing zf with sb.

A tad slower, but still, work em down and its no sweat. FOW is a bit different. A much wider range of classes to combat before arriving at even the forge.

Maybe that is what makes it interesting. I dunno.

But 2 man smite runs with myself and a mo/x are 2 to 3 times faster than going solo. if you do that and split the drops, you end up getting more out of it than solo'ing.

Ive been trying to sort this out for ages if anybody has any 3 - 4 man builds that are proven then please msg me in game to discuss it or please post me any details ideas you have.

I have my 2 man fow team down pretty well with a guildie, but you have to have a competent player or you'll get owned.

I'll make a post in a bit with full details on it. But its pretty much a 55build w/ blessed+enchant mod+spellbreaker (up to 25 seconds is nice for sb) an e/mo w/ maelstrom and soj. Zealots fire, aura and rof do most of the dmg from the 55 build side and maelstrom from the e/mo or mo/e.

The nuke is triggers no runaway, has niCe curse stuff, and as long things keep dieing, iam able to spike! whole groups out

notice his post on the fow strategy is before the AI AOE update. If someone can manage to get this old strategy to work, please post a screenshot.
